Dear members,

I am very excited to take the reigns of MSTA and help move us into a more robust professional organization.  As the president-elect, I helped plan the annual conference in Great Falls and Helena.  I'm looking forward to expanding our session options for Billings in 2023.

If there is anything that I learned over the past two years as president-elect and during the pandemic, it is that we are a vast state but we are flexible and can come together virtually.  I'd like to see each content area board member host a meeting virtually to help keep us connected - to share resources, talk about what you are doing in your classroom, and to make those valuable connections.

In addition, MSTA has also started collaborating with the professional science teaching organizations in Wyoming and Idaho to help pool some of our resources and to bring more opportunities to our members.  Stay tuned for more information on this in the coming months!

I'm really excited for the growth that is coming to our organization.  Thank you for joining me on this amazing ride!
