In collaboration with NASA, the Montana Learning Center is proudly offering a unique training for educators and/or librarians in Montana who are interested in leading a team for NASA’s Artemis ROADS III Student Challenge.

The ROADS Student Challenge is designed for elementary, middle, or high school students to test their STEM and robotics skills. This challenge is sponsored by NASA and is offered by the Northwest Earth & Space Sciences Pathways program.  The Montana Challenge will be hosted by Montana State University in Bozeman on May 20th.

There is no cost to enter the Challenge, and equipment will be loaned out to participating teams on an as-needed basis.

Applications for the workshop are now open and will close on the 1st of October. There is no cost to attend this educator training, which will be held on October 17th and 18th at the Montana Learning Center near Helena. Room and board during the workshop is provided for those accepted into the program.

Educators will qualify for 60 renewal units upon completion of the educator workshop and the Challenge with their students.

This is an amazing opportunity for students interested in STEM to expand their horizons and spark an interest in NASA research.
